I don’t know about you, but that description got me really curious about Melissa and what she calls ‘Shamanic Soulwork.’
Melissa brings decades of experience in depth psychology and soul-centered, shamanic, ancient wisdom-ways backed by a graduate degree in Depth and Jungian Psychology and Psychotherapy from Pacifica Graduate Institute as well as an undergrad degree in Business from American University in Washington DC.
With muddy-hands-on advanced training through years of direct experience in these areas — both indoors and in the wilderness — Melissa’s approach to her work and way of serving in the world is depth psychological, ecopsychological, shamanic, nature-based, practical and action-oriented.
For the last decade, from her home base in Denver, Colorado, Melissa has served people, nationwide, as a Jungian psychotherapist in private practice and as a Shamanic and Nature-based Soul Guide, writer and poet.
Melissa’s approach is based on what she calls, THE WAY OF THE DELICIOUSLY ALIVE BROKEN OPEN HEART™. This approach is radical because it’s not what expect when we talk about heart break. Turns out, heart break is a portal to aliveness, to Mystery, to raw, wild creativity in-born in each of us that gives way to a ravishing and organic way of thriving in reciprocity with every thing in and of the soul of the world, on the earth.
