This week’s guest is a frequent flyer on the show. Kristina Rake is wicked funny and way too smart, especially for a theologian who had started her own church. She is an award-winning preacher, lecturer, and author in theology, religion, the paranormal, and spirituality.

Kristina Rake is a now a Deacon in the United States Old Catholic Church.

Though raised without any church affiliation, she always felt a calling to a deeply spiritual life informed by theology. However, she born with many supernatural gifts, including psychic mediumship, so her journey to find a place of acceptance and welcoming was a crooked and divinely ironic road.

Feeling she finally has found her home, she pursues her next step in the church: becoming an ordained Catholic priest. Once ordained, she will become the first ordained female priest in the Old Catholic Church and a thorn in the side of the Roman one. 

We always have fun with and learn so much from Kristina. I’m looking forward to hearing how her walkabout has taken her from Bishop of a church she had founded herself to Deacon and eventually Priest in another denomination.
